As a professional speaker I know the importance of connecting with my audience. And I know the power of stories to build thay connection. When I came to the Story power Retreat I was struggling to take my personal stories and make them relatable for my audience in a deeper, more meaningful way. After the retreat, not only do I have a handful of stories I could start using in my presentations immediately, I have a framework for developing even more stories in the future.
 
In addition, the Iron Horse Inn where the retreat was held was warm, cozy and beautiful. And the meals we were served each day were both delicious amd nourishing. This was not your typical 'hotel food' experience. I felt like the food I ate fed my brain for the work amd my soul for the journey.
 
And last but by far not least, J Loren and Karin were incredible! Karin is a gentle and caring and made sure our experience was top notch. J Loren truly is a master of the story-telling craft. He was patient with my growth, and passionate about training me to lead the narrative.
 
While I learned a lot about storytelling, this event was about so much more. I grew as a person, as a leader and in my journey as a follower of Jesus. I met incredible people and gained the confidence I needed to step into the next level of my calling.
